PFA (fluoropolymer tubing) is a great alternative to FEP tubing for applications where you need something more resistant to chemically aggressive environments at higher temperatures—PFA tubing can handle 80 F degrees, which is higher than FEP tubing. IDEX Health & Science PFA tubing is constructed with genuine Teflon™ PFA resin and offers excellent chemical compatibility.
Due to its inner surface smoothness PFA tubing offers a more translucent option than PTFE. It delivers higher polymer purity and continuous service temperature when compared with other fluoropolymer tubes. With its high purity grade, fluoropolymer tubing is ideal for water quality testing, medical device tubing, and life science applications. Its ultra-high purity grades are also suitable for semiconductor markets.
