VHP Port Plug Instruction Guide

The VHP Port Plug is designed to be used with a 10-32 coned receiving port designed for 1/16" OD tubing. To properly use this product, follow these instructions:

1. If access to a torque wrench is available, first tighten the VHP Port Plug "fingertight", and then further tighten using the torque wrench until a tightening torque of 7 inch-pounds (0.79 N-m) has been achieved.
2. If access to a torque wrench is not available or not convenient, first tighten the VHP Port Plug fingertight, followed by an additional 1/4-turn using an appropriate wrench. If leaking in the connection occurs, continue wrench-tightening in 1/4-turn increments until a sealed connection is achieved.

If the above-listed instructions are followed, the VHP Port Plug is capable of withstanding up to 20,000 psi (~1,379 bar) of port pressure without leaking.
