MicroTight® Union

  1. Fingertighten Gauge Plug in one side.
  2. Insert your tubing directly into the included fitting and screw the fitting into the other end of the union, making sure the tubing is pushed firmly against the Gauge Plug. Finger tighten the fitting securely in place.
  3. If MicroTight sleeves are required, insert your tubing into an appropriately-sized MicroTight® tubing sleeve — 25µm-51µm (.001" - .002") greater than the OD of your capillary tubing.
  4. Insert your tubing or sleeved tubing into a Micro Fingertight.
  5. Screw the assembled unit into the other end of the union making sure the tubing and sleeve are pushed firmly against the Gauge Plug. Finger tighten the fitting securely in place.
  6. Remove Gauge Plug.
  7. Repeat steps 2 - 4; make sure the tubing and sleeve are pushed firmly against the other tubing and sleeve already installed. Finger tighten the fitting securely in place.

Please note: the UHP Unions may require a tightening tool to ensure the fitting is tightened properly. We recommend our P-279 Extender Tool with ¼ hex.

You should now have a True ZDV connection.
