MicroTee & MicroCross Instruction Guide

  1. For MicroTight® Tubing Sleeves: Insert your tubing into an appropriately-sized MicroTight tubing sleeve – 25μm-51μm (.001”–.002”) greater than the OD of your capillary tubing. Make sure your fused silica tubing does not extend past the end of the tubing sleeve.
  2. For 1/16", 1/32" and 360μm tubing: Direct connect.
  3. Insert your tubing or your sleeved tubing through the PEEK™ female nut and through the Micro Ferrule, as shown in the picture.
  4. Screw the assembled unit onto one of the available threaded ports on the MicroTee or MicroCross, making sure that the tubing is pushed firmly against the bottom ledge on the inside of the male port. Finger tighten securely.
  5. Repeat steps 1, 2, & 3 for each available port on your union.

    6. The unit should now be ready for use.
