Inline MicroFilter Instruction Guide

  1. Insert your capillary tubing through an appropriately sized tubing sleeve, until the tip of the tubing is flush with the end of the tubing sleeve.
  2. Insert the tubing sleeve assembly into a Micro Fingertight fitting, making certain the tubing and sleeve assembly extends past the tip of the fitting.
  3. Screw the Micro Fingertight fitting into the Micro End Fitting, tightening the fitting only finger tight. Be certain to push the tubing and sleeve assembly down into the Micro End Fitting until it bottoms out prior to completely tightening the fitting.
  4. Repeat steps 1 and 2, and then screw the Micro Fingertight fitting into the other end of the filter union body, being certain to push the tubing sleeve assembly down into the union body until it bottoms out before completely tightening the Micro Fingertight fitting.
  5. To replace the Micro End Fitting, simply unscrew the Micro Fingertight fitting attached to it, then unscrew the Micro End Fitting and replace it with a new one. Reassemble the filter following the directions in Step 3. Please note it is recommended to replace the tubing sleeve at the same time as you replace the Micro end fitting.
