Compression Hardware Reference Chart

This table lists all the necessary parts for a complete Compression column kit. Select the column of interest based on the length and ID, then select the right frit. We offer two frit pore ratings: 0.5 µm and 2.0 µm. Furthermore, for each frit pore rating, there are 2 different frit thicknesses: 1/32” and 1/16” (thinner frits will yield lower backpressure while thicker frits will retain smaller stationary phases better). The compression product line uses one type of end fitting and one packing adapter regardless of the column's inner diameter. For a complete kit, one tube, two frits, and two end fittings are needed. In addition, we recommend using IDEX Health & Science packing adapter to achieve the most uniform and reproducible packing results.
