Instructions for Use
Connect your tubing to the Back Pressure Regulator (BPR) assembly using the fittings provided. The arrow on the side of the assembly must be in the direction of fluid flow if the unit is
to function properly.
Replacing the BPR Cartridge:
1. Disconnect the inlet and outlet tubing.
2. Open the holder using the enclosed wrenches.
3. Remove the old cartridge and replace with a new one (it will only fit one way).
4. Reassemble the holder. For Stainless Steel BPR: Tighten1⁄4-turn past finger tight. For PEEK: Tighten to 20”lbs. of torque. To approximate this level of torque, first finger tighten the Holder, then tighten an additional 1/8-1/4 turn
with the supplied wrenches.
5. Reattach the tubing.
The pressure rating of the cartridge can be adjusted within a limited range with an allen wrench. Please contact us for further information.
