The ribbon cutting ceremony, held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, was a celebratory event attended by Tara Tereso, Group President; Tracy Dalby, Quality Director; Site Leader, Jon Wambold; and the Quality and Metrology Lab team members. The Metrology Lab
expansion has doubled the inspection space to 1,000 square feet, which will allow for the inspectors and equipment to reside in one new and enhanced location. The larger space also allows to scale for further growth and improves the equipment and
processes enabling the Team to continue to deliver high quality precision solutions for our customers.
With a focus to ensure world-class inspection, this new space allows easier access and simultaneous use with inspection equipment located in the center of the of lab. Double door entry and increased pathway for material flow into and out of the
lab is now available as well as centralized inspection tools and instrument storage. Upgraded adjustable workstations have been added to address Inspector ergonomic comfort.
“The Metrology Team has been anticipating this move for quite a while. We are thrilled to have the team and the equipment all in one location,” said Tracy Dalby, Quality Director.
“This is the first of several moves that we have planned to improve our material flow, optimize our product inspection and continue to deliver on our quality promise to global customers,” said Jon Wambold, Site Leader.
