IDEX Health & Science Launches BioVersal™ Bioinert Sample Loops

Rohnert Park, California, July 22, 2020 — IDEX Health & Science, industry leader in fluidic connections, introduces its newest addition to their BioVersal™ line of products; zero dead volume bioinert sample loops for use in Ultra High-Pressure applications.

Using patented PEEK lined stainless steel sample loops and MarvelX™ connections technology, IDEX Health & Science has designed a rugged Ultra High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (UHPLC) sample loop for use in the most challenging biological applications. They are 100% bioinert making them ideal when injecting biological or “sticky” samples. The maximum pressure rating for the loops is 19,000 psi, which is the highest-pressure rating for bioinert PEEK sample loops currently on the market.

The sample loops are supplied with two finger-tight MarvelX fittings which are compatible with 10-32 threaded ports, so no tools are required. This fitting technology is used to auto adjust to various port depths, which creates flat-faced sealing connection and zero dead volume, resulting in better chromatographic results. The loops can connect and disconnect over 100 times and are available in a variety of volumes and sizes to enhance application flexibility. They are compatible with a pH range of 2-14.
