Can any instrument control a valve?

Any instrument can be used to control an EV/MXII valve as long as it has external switches that are a contact closure or a TTL switch. Regarding the external switches:

  1. The switches must not send a voltage or a current to the EV/MXII valve or it will be damaged.
  2. BCD control requires four external switches.
  3. Determine whether the instrument’s output is level or a pulse logic.
  4. Both level and pulse logic require only one switch.
